Revelstoke, Begbie Creek: Last week I attempted to escape the backcountry closures and smoke filled Elk Valley, so I headed to Revelstoke. Sadly the smoke followed me there but I still able to get out and photograph some beautiful locations in the self-proclaimed #therealstoke. This photograph was taken on the trail to Begbie Falls. Begbie Creek runs down from Mount Begbie. I love the way the trees clutter the creek, a reminder of the immense power mountain rivers can generate, especially during the Spring melt. Check back shortly for a comprehensive itinerary from my time in Revelstoke, including more photographs from Begbie Falls. Photograph details: 0.6 sec, F11.0, ISO 100, 14mm, shot using an Olympus OM-D EM5.
With Fall in Fernie just around the corner, I’m stoked to get out and explore more of Fernie and British Columbia. Keep an eye on my Instagram and remember to like Nomads on the Road on Facebook.
