Wastwater, Lake District National Park: As I prepare to depart these shores for a stint in Canada and onto New Zealand (more details on this to come in the next month or so – also sign up up to my newsletter where you’ll learn more about my impending move to New Zealand), I have been looking back through some old photographs from England. There is still much of this beautiful land that I am still to explore and discover. Yet as is often the case I am tempted to flee for another country whenever the opportunity arises. This photograph is from last summer when I visited Wastwater, Lake National Park, I love this quiet section of the park, away from the crowds, just me, a million midges and a few hikers and photographers. Photography Details: 1/160th sec, F9.0, ISO 100, 14mm, shot using an Olympus OM-D EM5.
