reigate-heath-misty-morning Reigate Heath: I had been awake since 5am, out the door by 5.15am and in Betchworth by 5.45am. The sun was still below the horizon and the River Mole had a cool layer of mist lingering over it. Yet the photographs I got in that location just didn’t do it for me. So I jumped in the car and headed back towards Reigate Heath, a location I’m becoming well accustomed to. The mist was prevalent in the woods and I waited for the sun to burst through the trees. I was hoping the mist would be illuminated but when it came I was caught by surprise, it went from a diluted pre-dawn light to sunlight flooding the forest. This photograph was taken using an Olympus EM-5 and, along with many others, is available to buy, in various sizes.
