Sunset in Stavern Norway

Sunset in Stavern Norway: For the past three weeks I have been travelling and working in Norway and Sweden with Resonate Events. This photograph was taken on a deserted beach between Larvik and Stavern. We were in Vestfold, a county in Norway, where Stavern Festival was being held. Neil Young headlined the show and it was every bit of awesome as I expected. However, away from the festival, was this incredible beach. The sun doesn’t really set in Norway during the summer months, it does officially set but you never achieve full darkness. This meant there was this incredible light to play with; for hours. So I sit down on the beach, sink a few tinnies of local beer and a few shots of vodka, and wait. I wait for the light to be just right, the colours are so soft. This photograph was taken at 10.16pm, the sun didn’t officially ‘set’ for another 15 minutes. This photograph was taken using an Olympus EM-5.
