The Bull River, BC, Fall Colours: The Bull River Forest Service Road offers amazing backcountry access and is home to some of my favourite spots in and around Fernie, including access to Summer Lake. The Bull River FSR takes its name from the Bull River, a 117-km tributary of the mighty Kootenay River. This photograph was taken on a beautiful Fall day, the colours were radiant and the weather closed in just as we got off the river.
